Digital transformation is not a one-time event; it&#8217;s a journey that requires constant commitment and resources.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Digitalization of services, as an important component in digital transformation, is a long and complex process that requires coordination between many institutions as well as an improved level of digital education among citizens. The COVID-19 crisis has accelerated the need for digitalization of services and many public institutions, including municipalities.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to legal obligations and competencies, municipalities provide approximately 140 services from different fields, from municipal services to environment and education. Unfortunately, only a few of them are currently digitalized. In this context, responding to municipalities&#8217; request to provide digital services for their citizens, UNDP has developed a new, more modern software for electronic services at the local level &#8220;LoGeS&#8221;.  <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f05a068 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f05a068\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;gradient&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff0133a e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"ff0133a\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8cb07c8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8cb07c8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The LoGeS system is based on the strategy for local self-government and supports the concept of rapid municipal development and overall digital transformation of local government in North Macedonia. <\/h4>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-266897d e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"266897d\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9691399 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"9691399\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-db6698a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"db6698a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LoGeS is software for electronic services at the local level that offers <\/span><b>complete digitalization of more than 25 services<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> offered to citizens in 23 municipalities in North Macedonia. Services range from inspection complaints to subsidy requests and certificate issuance. These agreements will ensure budgetary input for the \"LoGeS administrator municipality\", which is a guarantee for the project's sustainability in the future.  <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d2f7488 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d2f7488\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The system meets the latest trends and regulations regarding cybersecurity and data protection.<\/p>\n<p>It is particularly important that the implementation of LoGeS does not require investments in hardware and IT equipment for municipalities, which significantly reduces software maintenance costs.<br \/>The sustainability of LoGeS is guaranteed through &#8220;inter-municipal cooperation&#8221; where a &#8220;larger&#8221; municipality provides services to other smaller municipalities regarding the administration and complete maintenance of this IT tool. The City of Skopje, with UNDP support, is in the process of implementing LoGeS.  <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li Self-Government (MLSG) and the Ministry of Digital Transformation (MDT) for the continued development of LoGeS into a national platform for electronic services at the local level.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<svg aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"e-font-icon-svg e-fas-check\" viewBox=\"0 0 512 512\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M173.898 439.404l-166.4-166.4c-9.997-9.997-9.997-26.206
